Businesses and organizations move very fast when making decisions. Long-drawn out processes can create opportunities for more competitive cities to change minds. Long-processes also drive up costs for both the municipality and the businesses we are trying to attract. That said, community input is also just as important, so mechanisms need to be in place to engage citizens as early as possible and throughout the decision-making process.
