The current culture among the companies that want to create new buildings and homes in Burlington, the City, and our residents is adversarial. It fosters conflict, legal costs, and barriers to community input. We need to create a process that is more inclusive of all stakeholders to implement the vision of the community. We need to have everyone's input as early in the process as possible, not near the end of the process when little can be changed.
