Burlington has been the slowest growing community in the GTA for the past few years. With community pressure to develop less, not more, there will be an impact on the amount of property taxes available to the City to fund services. This will put tremendous pressure on the current property taxpayer. We must control spending to keep taxes at an affordable level.
